The Fyrish Monument
The great monument built by Sir Hector Munro which dates back to 1783 atop Cnoc Fyrish is a prominent landmark for miles around and a compelling challenge to walk up to. The distinctive arches give tremendous views over the Cromarty Firth below, whilst out to the west the view is dominated by the great bulk of Ben Wyvis, our closest Munro.
